The Alters - Complete Edition - PS5

Jan Dolski is an ordinary worker facing an impossible situation. Stranded on a distant planet, he must create alternative versions of himself, the Alters, to manage his mobile base and escape the deadly radiation of a giant sun.

From the creators of This War of Mine: Distressed but not alone

Jan Dolski has crashed on a distant planet, stranded and alone. Jan's only hope for survival is to employ extra help on board his mobile base... but how? Improvising as he goes, Jan uses a local substance, Rapidium, to create other versions of himself: THE ALTERS.

Have you ever wondered how your life would have changed if you had chosen a different path in the past? Each of his alters has a different personality and background, as their path is the result of a specific change in Jan's life. To return home, Jan must not only get along with his alters, but also face the crucial choices of his past.

A race against time

The planet is slowly turning its face toward a giant sun, and radiation is rising rapidly. The base in which Jan lives must therefore keep moving. To navigate these arid landscapes, you will need to extract food, fuel, and precious resources before it is too late.

Survive by cooperating with your alternative versions:

• Play as Jan Dolski: An ordinary man facing impossible choices on a distant and hostile planet
• Create the Alters: Shape new versions of yourself to perform complex tasks that would be impossible to accomplish alone
• Relationships & Choices: Build bonds with your Alters, influence their decisions, and face the consequences of your past and present choices
• Mobile base management: Pilot and upgrade a constantly moving base to escape the sun's deadly rays
• Exploration & Resources: Exploit the planetary cycle to extract the resources needed to keep your base running
