Bread & Fred is a challenging cooperative platformer from Apogee in which two players must work together to jump and climb their way to the top of a snow-covered mountain.

Play as Bread and Fred on their exasperating—and at times downright crazy—climb, which requires surgical precision with every jump.

With every landing, you get closer to the summit and to mastering the platforms, but the fall will be even more dizzying.

Features:

• Swing to reach the farthest platforms!

Bread & Fred are tied together. This means you won’t just fall together—you can also use your momentum to swing and propel each other far beyond what a single penguin could jump. Make sure one of you is firmly anchored to the ground, or you’ll both fall!

• Hang onto the walls for as long as possible!

Penguins’ little hands aren’t very dexterous, but you can hang onto a wall with your partner for a few seconds to swing and get past the next obstacle. Be careful, though. These penguins are chubby, so you won’t be able to hang on for long. Act fast!

• Single-player mode!

Can’t find your penguin friend? Tie your rope to Jeff (a rock!) and use him instead! The climb will depend entirely on you and your skill, but that also means you’ll have no one to blame if you fall...

Legend has it that, with these skills, a few heroic penguins have managed to reach the summit. Will you be one of them?

Every fall will hurt, but try to learn from them and laugh it off. Think carefully about each jump and master the penguin techniques to reach the summit.

For the most daring climbers, Bread & Fred offers a speedrun mode: you can compete against each other and try to become the best penguins on the planet.
