In this adventure with updated graphics, you'll explore the spooky areas of the Evershade Valley. According to Professor E. Gadd, the mysterious Dark Moon that shines in the valley’s sky has a calming effect on the ghosts that live there... but everything changed when the Dark Moon was suddenly shattered by an unknown force!

Now, the place is swarming with out-of-control ghosts bent on causing chaos! Will Luigi be able to find all the fragments of the Dark Moon and restore peace to the Evershade Valley?

Fortunately, Professor E. Gadd is here to supply Luigi with the perfect tools for the job, such as the Strobulb to stun ghosts, and the essential Poltergust 5000, which can suck up ghosts... and all sorts of objects!

Luigi’s ghost-hunting escapades will take him through a variety of eerie locations: an abandoned botanical lab, a rundown clockworks factory, and a mysterious, snow-covered mine, to name just a few...

Up to four players can team up via local wireless or online multiplayer to take on the challenges of the ScareScraper, where you'll encounter traps and ghosts not found in the main game.
