Following the destruction of the planet Euphor by the Vega Empire, Prince Actarus takes refuge on our planet. Taken in and adopted by Professor Procyon, he lives on the White Birch Ranch. With Vega's invasion of Earth imminent, Actarus sets out to defend the planet using Goldorak, the titanic robot hidden deep within Professor Procyon's observatory. With the help of Alcor, the prince of Euphor relentlessly repels Vega's attacks and battles its terrifying robots, the Golgoths, sent to destroy him.

Play as Actarus and his colossal robot in epic battles with multiple gameplay modes: pilot the “Spazer” (the flying module that houses Goldorak), shoot them up vertically in Alcor's OVTerre, and engage in third-person action/combat while controlling Goldorak. Use his iconic and devastating attacks to destroy the terrifying Golgoths and save the Earth.
