Shakha Proshakha

Former director of a mica mine, Ananda Majumdar lives in a small town in Bengal surrounded by his aging father and his second son, Proshanto, who is severely disabled due to a car accident. On his 70th birthday, Ananda suffers a heart attack. His three other sons, who live in Calcutta where each of them has achieved a very comfortable lifestyle, rush to his bedside. Ananda gradually recovers and is delighted to rediscover his successful children. But during his convalescence, he realizes that the values he has passed on to them will disappear with him.
